Mondays at 5:00pm - 6:45pm  Feb 7 - March 14th, 2022 6 Weeks for $275 Facilitated by Jeanie Griffin  Shamanism is the most ancient spiritual practice known to us. It dates back at least 40,000 years and some anthropologists believe the practice dates back over 100,000 years. The word shaman comes from the Tungus tribe in Siberia and it means spiritual healer or one who sees in the dark. Shamanism teaches us that everything is alive and has a spirit, emphasizing the ONENESS of all things. Through shamanic practices communication comes through revelation. The intention of this workshop is to introduce participants to the classic shamanic journey, a basic method used around the world for the purpose of becoming acquainted with helping spirits such as Power Animals and Compassionate Teachers. Drumming and movement techniques (not drugs) will facilitate the journeyer in experiencing shamanic non-ordinary reality, allowing access to information to help self, others and the Earth. People in our culture are so very lonely. When a person does not know who from the spirit world accompanies them, the person gathers external “things” from the physical world to fill a spiritual void. Come to this safe place to meet your loving helping spirits! The Earth needs our help.
